Rathdrum, ID — Motorcycle Crash Claims Life on SH 53
A fatal motorcycle crash occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. Monday at the junction of SH 53 and SH 41 in Rathdrum, Idaho.
According to Idaho State Police (ISP), a 23-year-old man from Post Falls was riding a 2024 Yamaha R7 when he lost control and left the roadway, striking a road sign. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities closed SH 53 temporarily to facilitate the investigation. Further details regarding the incident are currently being assessed.
