MONROVIA, Ind. (WISH) — All eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 are closed following a crash involving a semitruck and a passenger vehicle.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, the incident occurred before 9 a.m. Traffic cameras captured multiple emergency vehicles at the scene, including an IU Lifeline helicopter.
Authorities have not confirmed the number of vehicles involved or any injuries. The highway closure spans nearly 20 miles between Cloverdale and Joppa. As of 11:30 a.m., at least one lane of I-70 has reopened.
