Four Trucking Companies Cease Operations Following Fatal Crash Involving Illegal Immigrant Driver.

WASHINGTON (TNND) — Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced Thursday evening that four trucking carriers were put out of business following a crash in Indiana that killed four people.

Authorities reported that the incident involved a semi-truck colliding with a van, resulting in the deaths of four Amish men. Investigations have linked four additional carriers to the crash, prompting their immediate suspension.

The carriers identified and now out of service include KG Line Group Inc., Tutash Express 1 LLC, RPM Hauling, and Valcins Trucking LLC. Duffy emphasized the ongoing crackdown on illegal migrant truck drivers under his administration.

According to recent reports, nearly 2,000 truckers were removed due to violations of safety standards. In a separate incident, a driver was taken off the road after being seen driving on the wrong side for multiple miles.

Duffy stated that a “coordinated CHAMELEON CARRIER network” is evading law enforcement by changing names and DOT numbers. He reiterated the Department of Transportation's commitment to holding accountable all operators involved in unsafe practices.
