SANDWICH, MA — Four people were hospitalized following a six-vehicle crash on Route 6 Saturday morning.
At approximately 9 a.m. on Saturday, the Sandwich Fire Department responded to a report of a multi-vehicle collision involving six vehicles, including two vans and two SUVs.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel discovered 18 individuals at the scene, with one person requiring extrication from a vehicle.
Four patients were transported to Cape Cod Hospital for treatment, while the other 14 did not require hospitalization.
Authorities are continuing the investigation into the accident.
