One Dead in Highway 55 Crash in Minnesota
Plymouth, MN – A fatal crash on Highway 55 occurred Saturday morning, resulting in one death and injuries to two others.
At 10:11 a.m., a westbound Mercedes-Benz E-Class collided with a southbound Ford F-150 near County Road 116. The Ford driver, a 68-year-old man from Cape Coral, Florida, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
The two occupants of the Mercedes, both from Plymouth—a 75-year-old man and a 29-year-old man—sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were treated at a local hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol is conducting an investigation into the incident.
