Husband Expresses Grief After Loss in Tragic Incident
PINE VALLEY, Oct. 5 — The husband of a woman involved in a recent fatal accident expressed heartache in a Facebook post, stating, “I wasn't supposed to do this alone.”
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Oct. 4 at approximately 7:15 p.m. on Pine Valley Road. Emergency responders discovered a two-vehicle collision involving a sedan and an SUV.
The crash resulted in one fatality and sent two individuals to the hospital with serious injuries. The identity of the deceased, a 34-year-old woman, has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
Emergency services, including Pine Valley Fire Department and local police, were on the scene to manage the situation. Witnesses reported that the SUV was traveling westbound when it collided with the sedan attempting to make a left turn.
Authorities closed two lanes of Pine Valley Road for several hours, allowing investigators to analyze the scene. Traffic was diverted while tow trucks removed the vehicles involved.
The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing, and officials are urging anyone with additional information to contact the Pine Valley Police Department.
