PEMBROKE, N.H. — A 22-year-old Epsom man was killed Friday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on Route 28.
According to authorities, the incident occurred when a driver was slowing down to pass a construction vehicle and was struck by a Jeep driven by Justin Garvin. The Jeep then collided with the rear of a paving truck.
Garvin was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.
Emergency responders were on the scene to provide medical aid, and lane closures were enacted while the incident was investigated.
