PEMBROKE, N.H. — An Epsom man was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Route 28 early Friday morning.
According to police, the accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. involving three vehicles. The deceased, identified as a 42-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others sustained injuries; one was transported to Concord Hospital with serious injuries, while another received treatment at the scene and declined further medical attention.
Emergency responders, including local police and fire departments, arrived promptly to manage the scene and assist the injured. The right lane of Route 28 was closed for approximately three hours during the investigation and cleanup.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and have not released further details. Witnesses reported poor visibility at the time due to heavy fog, which may have contributed to the incident.
