Elderly driver dies in three-car crash near Boynton Beach.

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — One person is dead following a three-vehicle crash Sunday evening near the Indian Spring community.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, the collision occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. A Lexus sedan was traveling south on El Clair Ranch Road when it entered the intersection with Woolbright Road. At the same time, a Ram pickup truck was heading west on Woolbright Road. The front of the Ram truck struck the driver's side of the Lexus, sending the sedan across the eastbound lanes of Woolbright Road, where it collided with a third vehicle.

The driver of the Lexus, identified as 82-year-old Robert Larson, succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital. The other two drivers involved sustained minor injuries.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene to provide medical aid. The intersection was temporarily closed as investigators assessed the situation. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities working to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
