A 59-year-old man was hospitalized in serious condition following an e-scooter crash in Honolulu on Sunday.
The incident occurred at approximately 1 p.m. near the intersection of Artesian Street and South King Street. According to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services, the rider, who was wearing a helmet, lost control of the e-scooter and was ejected from the device.
Paramedics reported treating the man for a severe leg injury before transporting him to an emergency room. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
