HONOLULU (Island News) – A serious e-scooter accident in Honolulu on Sunday afternoon left one man hospitalized with critical injuries.
Emergency responders from the Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived at the intersection of Artesian St. and King St. shortly before 1 p.m. on Sunday. Authorities stated that a man in his 50s was operating the e-scooter when he lost control and was thrown from the vehicle.
The man sustained a severe leg injury despite wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. Paramedics transported him to an emergency room, where he is currently in serious condition.
