(WJAR) — A crash involving an E-bike in Johnston led to the arrest of a 33-year-old man on Wednesday night.
Crews responded at 8:00 p.m. to 780 Hartford Avenue. Authorities said a vehicle traveling east attempted to enter a parking lot when it was struck by an E-bike on the passenger side.
The E-bike operator, identified as Mackenzie Antoch of Cranston, sustained minor injuries, including a laceration, and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
According to police, Antoch was found to be wanted on a Superior Court bench warrant related to drug charges in Westerly. He was taken into custody following his release from the hospital.
