DUI Crash in Spring Valley Injures Four, One Seriously Hurt

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A bus crash in Spring Valley late Monday night resulted in four individuals and one DUI arrest.

The incident occurred around 10 p.m. near West Flamingo Road and Rainbow Boulevard, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. A bus was stopped at a westbound Flamingo bus stop when a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix traveling west collided with the rear of the bus.

One bus passenger was transported to Spring Valley Hospital, while two others were taken to University Medical Center. The Pontiac driver was at UMC Trauma Center with life-threatening injuries.

Authorities reported that the Pontiac driver exhibited signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested on DUI-related charges. The bus driver remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.

The investigation is ongoing, with no additional information regarding lane closures or further details released at this time.
