BRIDGEWATER, MA—A driver was seriously injured in a crash on Route 24 on Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred around 7:45 a.m., involving two vehicles traveling northbound near Exit 15. Authorities reported that one vehicle collided with another, resulting in significant damage. Emergency responders from the Bridgewater Fire Department and Massachusetts State Police arrived at the scene shortly after.
The injured driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment, and their current condition is unknown. No other injuries were reported.
As a precaution, the left lane was closed for approximately two hours while crews cleared the scene and attended to the incident. Authorities are conducting an investigation into the cause of the crash.
