Driver Hospitalized After SUV and Tractor Crash East of Creston
UNION COUNTY, Iowa — A crash involving an SUV and a tractor on Highway 34 east of Creston left one person injured Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred around 9:00 a.m. when the SUV rolled onto its side, trapping the driver inside. Firefighters responded swiftly, removing the vehicle's roof to extricate the driver, who was then transported to Greater Regional Health for treatment.
The driver of the tractor reported no injuries.
The Union County Sheriff's Office, Creston Police Department, and Creston Fire Department were on the scene to assist with emergency response efforts.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, and no lane closures were reported as a result of the incident. Further details on the condition of the injured driver have not been released.
