LONDONDERRY, N.H. — A driver was killed Friday afternoon in a crash that closed multiple lanes of Interstate 93.
According to New Hampshire State Police, a vehicle left the interstate and struck a concrete bridge support. First responders attempted life-saving measures before transporting the driver to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim was identified as Robert Lemieux, 38, of Pelham. Traffic was impeded in the two left northbound lanes and the left southbound lane at Exit 4A while emergency crews were on site; those lanes have since reopened.
Authorities stated that the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
