MISSOULA, Mont. — A 55-year-old man from Edmonton, Alberta, died Saturday night in a crash on Interstate 15 near Divide.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the driver was southbound in a Kenworth commercial motor vehicle around 11:02 p.m. when the truck left the roadway while negotiating a curve near mile marker 99.
The truck struck a guardrail, overturned, and slid several hundred feet before coming to rest, with the tractor on the right shoulder and the trailer partially on the guardrail.
Emergency responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
The incident is under investigation, and further details are pending.
