Multiple Injuries Reported in Des Moines Crash
DES MOINES, Iowa — Multiple injuries were reported following a collision on University Avenue Wednesday morning.
Des Moines Police responded to the scene at approximately 8:15 a.m. near Sixth Avenue, close to MercyOne downtown. The incident involved three vehicles and resulted in significant traffic delays.
Authorities are investigating the crash, but the cause has not yet been confirmed.
Emergency medical services provided aid to the injured at the scene, and two vehicles were towed from the area. University Avenue was partially closed while authorities assessed the situation.
