AVONDALE, Ariz. – The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal crash involving three vehicles on Interstate 10 in Avondale.
The incident occurred on Nov. 9 at approximately 2:41 p.m. in the westbound lanes near Fairway Drive.
Emergency responders pulled one individual from a vehicle, confirming the crash resulted in a fatality.
The left two lanes and the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane were initially closed but have since reopened.
Authorities have not released additional details regarding the circumstances of the crash or the identity of the deceased.
