LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX News) — A cyclist sustained life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning on New Circle Road.
The incident occurred at 5:36 a.m. near the intersection of New Circle Road and Life Lane. According to Lexington Police, the cyclist was transported from the scene with critical injuries.
Authorities reported that the inner loop of New Circle Road between Palumbo Drive and Life Lane is closed as they continue to investigate the crash.
