HONOLULU (Island News) – A significant accident caused multiple lane closures on the H-1 Freeway Sunday afternoon.
The Hawaii Department of Transportation reported the incident at 12:55 p.m., with three lanes of the H-1 westbound at the Halawa interchange blocked.
Witnesses indicated that a vehicle was seen partially over a concrete guardrail near the Pearl City exit.
First responders from the Honolulu Police Department, Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to the scene.
