COLUMBUS, Ohio — Police on May 29 identified the pedestrian killed in a May 16 hit-and-run on the city's Northeast Side.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, Brian Craddock, 59, was struck by a southbound vehicle on Cleveland Avenue just north of Republic Avenue.
The crash occurred at 9:46 p.m. May 16; the driver left the scene, authorities said.
Medics took Craddock to a local hospital in critical condition, where he died at 10:10 p.m. May 16.
Investigators have not released a description of the vehicle.
The Accident Investigation Unit is investigating.
