Colerain High School student dies after vehicle crash, officials say

A 17-year-old bicyclist died Sept. 15 after a pickup struck him head-on on Harrison Avenue in Colerain Township, Ohio, officials said.

According to the Hamilton County Coroner's Office, the victim was identified as Langdon Udry, 17.

Udry was riding a “non-roadworthy motorized with no headlights” along Harrison Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, when a Colorado turning onto Creekview Drive hit him, according to an Ohio crash report.

He was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and died the next day, authorities said.

The pickup's driver was injured, records state.

Colerain Township Police responded and are investigating the crash. Authorities have not released information on lane closures or tows.
