PHOTOS: Car wreckage after accident in Cumberland County
SILVER SPRING TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
A serious crash occurred in Cumberland County early Tuesday morning.
According to the New Kingstown Fire Company, a sedan collided near Sample Bridge Road and Bridgeport Drive shortly after 1:30 a.m.
The impact severely damaged the vehicle, with the front end extensively wrecked and the motor detached, authorities reported.
Injuries are currently unconfirmed, and no fatalities have been reported.
The Silver Spring Township Police Department is conducting an investigation into the incident.
Lane closures were implemented following the accident, and tow services were on the scene.
