Emergency crews are investigating a crash involving a Honda Pilot that struck a home daycare in Mattapan on Friday at 1:45 p.m.
The incident occurred on Cummins Highway, resulting in significant damage to the porch stairs of the residence. Authorities secured the area for investigation.
The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital, according to the Boston Police Department. No individuals were present inside the daycare at the time of the crash.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities stated it is unclear if charges will be filed against the driver.
