CINCINNATI — Camp Washington Chili reopened at 9 a.m. Sept. 2, one day after a vehicle crashed into its building, the restaurant said.
Operations resumed at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, according to a post on the restaurant's Facebook page.
According to Fox 19, one vehicle struck the restaurant early Tuesday, Sept. 1; the driver was arrested on an OVI charge. Fox 19 reported no injuries.
The crash occurred at the corner of Colerain Avenue and Hopple Street in the Camp Washington neighborhood.
According to the restaurant, contractors, building inspectors, the local health department, first responders and Duke Energy completed repairs, inspections and safety checks to enable reopening.
Authorities said the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
