BEDFORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE – MARCH 31, 2026: Actor Eugene Mirman was hospitalized after being rescued from a car engulfed in flames near the Bedford Toll Plaza on the Everett Turnpike at approximately 11:55 a.m.
Authorities reported that a State Trooper, part of Governor Kelly Ayotte's security detail, discovered the burning vehicle and pulled the 51-year-old actor to safety through a window. “Their actions were heroic,” said State Police Colonel Mark B. Hall.
Mirman, known for voicing Gene Belcher on the animated series “Bob's Burgers,” was taken to a local hospital. His representative stated he is recovering and expressed gratitude toward the first responders and bystanders who aided in the rescue.
