Actor Eugene Mirman Severely Injured in Fiery Car Crash in New Hampshire
BEDFORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE — Eugene Mirman, 51, was hospitalized with injuries following a car crash at approximately 11:55 a.m. on March 31, 2026, at the Bedford Toll Plaza on the Everett Turnpike.
According to the New Hampshire Division of State Police, the actor was rescued from his burning vehicle by a trooper assigned to Governor Kelly Ayotte's security detail. Witnesses reported that the vehicle was actively on fire and that the trooper pulled Mirman from the car through a window.
Officials confirmed that Mirman is currently recovering from his injuries. A representative stated, “He is grateful to be on the mend” and expressed thanks to bystanders, first responders, and hospital personnel. The family requests privacy during this time.
