SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. — Traffic was halted in both directions on Interstate 65 Wednesday afternoon due to a semitrailer crash.
According to TRIMARC, the incident occurred on the northbound side of I-65 at approximately 4:15 p.m., just past Cedar Grove Road. Authorities reported that a single semitrailer was involved, with traffic cameras showing the vehicle hanging over the interstate divider.
The driver of the semitrailer was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Several hours after the crash, some lanes reopened to traffic.
Shepherdsville Police advised motorists to seek alternate routes as crews worked to clear the scene. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
