BOISE, Idaho — A crash on northbound I-95 in Adams County resulted in a fatality, closing the roadway for five hours on Wednesday evening.

The incident occurred at approximately 6:39 p.m. near milepost 173.4. A 50-year-old man from New Meadows lost control of his Harley Davidson while navigating a curve, leading to the crash.

Authorities confirmed that the motorcycle operator died at the scene. Police reported the individual was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

Emergency response teams were on-site to manage the situation, and the investigation is ongoing. Lane closures were in effect during cleanup and recovery operations.
