ANDOVER, Mass. —
A woman died late Wednesday in a fiery crash on Interstate 495 in Andover, Massachusetts.
Massachusetts State Police responded at 11:30 p.m. to the northbound lane for a vehicle off the roadway engulfed in flames. Upon arrival, officers found a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country with two adults and three children inside.
A 25-year-old female passenger from Lawrence was pronounced dead at the scene, and her identity has not been released. The driver was transported to a Boston hospital with serious injuries, while the three children were also taken to a Boston hospital for unknown injuries.
The driver of another vehicle involved in the crash was not injured. The incident remains under investigation, according to authorities.
