Tanker, Car Crash at Massachusetts Turnpike Service Plaza
FRAMINGHAM, MA — A car and a tanker truck collided at a Massachusetts Turnpike service plaza at 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
At least one person sustained injuries and was airlifted to a nearby hospital, officials reported. The Massachusetts State Police were on scene to manage the situation and secured the area for a medical flight.
All lanes of the service plaza have since reopened to traffic. Authorities are conducting an investigation into the cause of the crash.
