PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WCHS) — Troopers are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon on U.S. 23 in Pikeville.
According to Kentucky State Police, Paul Bisbee, 62, died at the scene. The crash happened shortly before 4 p.m. when Bisbee's southbound SUV crossed into the northbound lanes and collided with a concrete barrier.
Emergency responders, including the Pike County Coroner's Office and local first responders, assisted at the scene. The investigation is ongoing, and no further details about the cause of the crash have been released.
