KANSASVILLE, Wis. — One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Highway A and State Highway 75 on Thursday, Jan. 18.
According to the Kansasville Fire & Rescue Department (KFRD), emergency responders were dispatched around 9:30 a.m. to the Town of Dover. Upon arrival, they found a Toyota Corolla and a Toyota Camry with moderate damage and airbag deployment.
Traffic was temporarily blocked as responders assessed the scene and cleared debris. The driver of the Corolla was transported to a Mount Pleasant hospital for evaluation of injuries reported as non-life-threatening. The other occupant in the Corolla declined medical treatment, while the driver of the Camry chose not to receive assistance on-site.
KFRD personnel indicated that this intersection has a history of accidents, with three injury incidents recorded in recent weeks. “Visibility was good and the roads were clear, yet the frequency of accidents remains concerning,” said KFRD Firefighter Friedrich Glas.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
