MILWAUKEE — The Cincinnati Reds placed center fielder Dane Myers on the 10-day injured list Tuesday following a full-speed collision with the center-field wall Monday.

According to the team, Myers was evaluated at a Milwaukee hospital and diagnosed with a shoulder bruise.

Witnesses reported Myers was carted off after securing a catch near the wall in the fourth inning of Monday's 5-3 loss to the Brewers.

The Reds called up infielder/outfielder Ivan Johnson to replace Myers on the active roster, the club said.

In other moves Tuesday, Cincinnati activated closer Emilio Pagán from the injured list after a two-month hamstring absence and optioned right-hander Zach McCambley to Triple-A Louisville, the team said.
