Motorcyclist Killed in on Route 16 in Albany, NH

ALBANY, N.H. — A 34-year-old man died Saturday afternoon after his crossed into oncoming traffic on Route 16, striking a vehicle head-on.

According to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office, Daniel Jennings, of Tamworth, was at the scene after the crash occurred around 5:30 p.m., just north of Piper Trail.

Authorities reported Jennings was traveling northbound when he lost control, colliding with a southbound vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries and was treated and released.

Route 16 was closed for an extended period for investigation. Response agencies included the CONWAY FIRE DEPARTMENT, NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE POLICE, MADISON POLICE DEPARTMENT, and the NH MEDICAL EXAMINER'S OFFICE.
