KUNIA, Hawaii (Island News) – Two occupants were rescued from a vehicle following a crash early Tuesday morning.
The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) was dispatched to the scene at approximately 3:16 a.m. near Lauwiliwili St., where a single vehicle was found with two occupants trapped inside.
According to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS), the crash involved the vehicle and a container. One occupant managed to self-extricate before HFD crews arrived. Firefighters stabilized the vehicle and utilized rescue tools to free the second occupant.
Both individuals, reportedly in their 30s, sustained multiple injuries and were transported to an emergency room in serious condition, EMS confirmed.
No additional information has been released regarding the circumstances of the crash or the identities of the individuals involved.
