Emergency crews responded late Tuesday night to a crash involving an 18-wheeler and a passenger vehicle in Duplin County.
According to the Rose Hill Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched at 11:17 p.m. to Main Street in Magnolia for the incident.
Upon arrival, crews discovered an 18-wheeler and a passenger vehicle involved in the collision, with one individual trapped inside the car.
Firefighters assisted in extricating the occupant, who was then placed under the care of EMS personnel, as reported by RHFD.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
Responding agencies included the Magnolia Fire Department, Rose Hill Fire Department, and Warsaw Fire Department.
