DERRY, NH — A motorcycle crash on Island Pond Road on Sunday evening resulted in a fatality.
At approximately 5:23 p.m. on September 24, Derry Police responded to a serious motor vehicle accident involving a single motorcycle. Emergency personnel located the rider and initiated life-saving measures.
The driver, identified as 61-year-old Christopher Chick of Derry, was transported to Parkland Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries, according to authorities.
Island Pond Road was closed for several hours for the investigation but has since reopened to traffic. The incident remains under investigation by local authorities.
