A multi-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 60 eastbound near mile marker 34 resulted in significant delays this afternoon.
Authorities reported the collision involved two sedans and a pickup truck. The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) indicated two right lanes were closed while crews responded to the scene, beginning around 1:00 p.m.
Emergency medical services treated three individuals on-site for minor injuries, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS). No fatalities have been reported.
Traffic remained backed up for several miles as responders worked to clear the wreckage. By 2:00 p.m., one lane reopened to alleviate congestion.
ADOT advised motorists to expect continued delays in the area and to consider alternate routes where possible.
