Three charged in connection with teen's death after shooting and crash in southern Indiana.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ind. — Three individuals have been charged following the death of a 17-year-old in a shooting and crash incident in southern Indiana.

Authorities responded to reports of a crash in the 8000 block of South Big Springs Road around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, approximately nine miles south of Salem. Hunter Blaine was found deceased inside a crashed vehicle located in a heavily wooded area.

The Indiana State Police (ISP) arrested Jessica Lambert, 35; Kendall Cline, 20; and Ethan Edison, 22, on Wednesday. Lambert faces charges of intimidation (Level 6 felony) and false informing. Cline is charged with intimidation (Level 6 felony) and dealing in a Schedule I controlled substance (Level 6 felony). Edison is charged with intimidation (Level 5 felony), dealing in a Schedule I controlled substance (Level 6 felony), and pointing a firearm (Level 6 felony).

ISP officials stated that evidence processing and interviews are ongoing as the investigation continues. All three suspects are currently held in the Washington County Jail without bond.
