CINCINNATI — Northbound I-75 at the Brent Spence Bridge reopened early Thursday, June 18, 2026, after flooding closed multiple Cincinnati highways.

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, flooding at the I-71/I-75 split caused significant backups onto the bridge and into Kentucky.

Cincinnati Police said I-75 north was closed between I-74 and Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway because of flash flooding; traffic began moving again just before 5 a.m.

ODOT reported lane restrictions on I-75 at the I-74 interchange due to high water.

All lanes remained closed on US-50/SR-264 West at I-71 because of flooding, authorities said.

Additional closures were reported on I-75 north at U.S. 50/River Road and on I-71 southbound beyond the I-71/U.S. 50 split.

Authorities said heavy caused the flash flooding. No injuries were immediately reported. The status of tows was not released.
