B-52 Crash at Edwards Air Force Base Claims Eight Lives
EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, CA—On October 17, 2023, a B-52 bomber crashed on the base around 2:41 p.m., resulting in the deaths of eight crew members.
The aircraft was conducting a routine training exercise when the incident occurred. Emergency response teams, including the fire department and military personnel, quickly arrived on the scene. Medical aid was provided, but all eight crew members were pronounced dead at the site.
