Fatal Crash on Highway 50 Claims One Life, Injures Two Others
SACRAMENTO, CA—A multi-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 50 near the Sutterville exit on October 11 at approximately 2:41 p.m., resulting in one fatality and two injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved three vehicles, including a sedan and two SUVs. Emergency services responded promptly to the scene, where one driver was pronounced dead. Two additional individuals were transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
Authorities reported that the left lanes of eastbound Highway 50 were closed for nearly two hours as first responders worked to clear the site. Towing services were dispatched to remove the vehicles involved. The cause of the accident is under investigation, and no further details about the deceased have been released.
