A 58-year-old Brewer woman died in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Newburgh on Saturday at 1:30 p.m., according to police.
Darcel Geiser was driving north when her vehicle veered off the road and rolled multiple times, said Shannon Moss, spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety. Geiser was not wearing a seatbelt and required extrication by emergency responders but was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is under investigation by the Maine State Police. No additional information was available as of late Saturday.
