Windham, NH – A driver was killed after crashing into a swamp on North Lowell Road on Sunday at 10:46 a.m.
According to the Windham Fire Department, the vehicle was heavily damaged, with part of its roof sheared off. The driver, the only occupant, was ejected from the car and found in cardiac arrest.
First responders from Windham and Derry police attempted life-saving measures but pronounced the male victim dead at the scene. No additional individuals were located in the vicinity.
Authorities are investigating the incident, and North Lowell Road was closed during the investigation. Windham is located just north of Methuen and the Massachusetts border.
