MIDDLETON, Wis. – A 20-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash on US-12 eastbound near Airport Road on Monday at approximately 11:30 a.m., according to the Dane County Medical Examiner's Office.
Authorities identified the victim as Tyler K. Lind from Gilman. Preliminary autopsy results indicate that injuries sustained during the crash were the cause of death.
The eastbound lanes of US-12 were closed for several hours as first responders worked to clear the scene and conduct an investigation. The Middleton Police Department, Dane County Sheriff's Office, and Dane County Medical Examiner's Office are all involved in the ongoing investigation.
