VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A vehicle crashed into Yomi Hibachi and Sushi early Sunday morning, causing significant damage but resulting in no injuries.
The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. at the restaurant located in the Landstown Commons shopping center, according to the restaurant's owners. Surveillance footage showed the vehicle striking the front of the establishment.
No employees or customers were present at the time, as the restaurant was closed. Owners were unaware of the crash until they arrived for work Sunday morning.
The damage affected both the interior and exterior of the business. Owners expressed hope that repairs will be completed quickly, allowing them to resume normal operations.
