Injuries Reported in Giuliani's Crash During Domestic Violence Response

Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani Injured in New Hampshire Crash

MANCHSTER, NH — Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani sustained multiple injuries, including a fractured vertebra, in a car crash on Interstate 93 Saturday night.

The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. when a Honda HR-V driven by a 19-year-old woman from Concord collided with the rear of a Ford Bronco carrying Giuliani and his driver. Authorities reported that all injuries sustained were non-life-threatening.

According to a spokesperson for Giuliani, the former mayor was assisting a woman involved in a domestic violence situation when he was flagged down. Giuliani contacted 911 and stayed at the scene until police arrived. Afterward, while returning to the highway, Giuliani's vehicle was struck from behind.

Giuliani was transported to a local trauma center for treatment of his injuries, which also included lacerations and contusions. His spokesperson confirmed that Giuliani is recovering and in good spirits.

New Hampshire State Police were investigating the domestic violence incident on the side of the highway at the time of the crash but provided no further details. They are seeking witnesses and have requested anyone with information to contact Sgt. Mark Dore at 603-223-4381.

As the investigation continues, no charges have been filed related to the crash; roadways were cleared shortly after the incident.
