AURORA, Colo. — The intersection of Jewell Avenue and E-470 was closed following a crash involving at least two vehicles on Tuesday at approximately 3:20 p.m.
Authorities reported that nine individuals sustained injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals with minor to moderate injuries. This information was confirmed around 3:50 p.m.
Emergency responders advised drivers to seek alternate routes as two vehicles required towing from the scene. Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
